Courses on which Scholarship is offered

  • The scholarship is available for Post Matric Courses approved by the concerned University/ Board having a duration of 1 year and above. The courses are further divided into the following categories.
    • Group – I – Professional Courses (Degree and PG Courses in Medicine, Engineering, Technology, Management, Agriculture, Veterinary and Allied Sciences, Business Finance, Business administration and Computer Applications/ Science, Commercial pilot License course)
    • Group – II – Other professional and technical graduate and PG including (M.Phil, PhD and post doctoral research) level courses not covered in Group-I. C.A./ I.C.W.A./ C.S./ etc., courses, all post graduate, graduate level diploma courses, all certificate level courses)
    • Group – III – Degree courses(not covered in group I & II), NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) courses.
    • Group – IV – Intermediate, ITI/ ITCs, Vocational Courses (Intermediate level)
  • The following courses are not eligible for scholarship – Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Courses, Private Pilot license Courses, Courses at Pre-examination Training Centers of all India and State levels.

AP e-Pass Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria for AP ePass Scholarship 2022 are given below.

  • Only those students are eligible who belong to the categories of SC, ST whose annual parental income is less than or equal to Rs. 2 lakh.
  • Candidates from BC, EBC and Disabled Welfare Students are also eligible if their annual parental income is less than or 1 lakh.
  • To get the scholarship, the attendance of students should be at 75% at the end of each quarter.

Category of students (NOT ELIGIBLE)

The following categories of students are not eligible.

  • SC, ST Students whose annual parental income is more than Rs. Two Lakhs and BC,EBC,Disabled Students whose parental income is more than Rupees One lakh.
  • Candidates belonging to categories other than SC, ST, BC, EBC and DW(Disabled).
  • Those students who are pursuing part-time courses, online courses.
  • Students drawing the stipend more than the scholarship amount in aggregate per annum.
  • Students admitted under Sponsored seats, Management Quota seats.
  • EBC students studying Intermediate or equivalent courses
  • Students of BC, EBC and DW students studying the Courses offered by open universities, distant mode, category B seats in MBBS, BDS.

AP e-Pass Scholarship Application Form 2022

Those candidates who want to apply and get this scholarship need to register online. The AP ePass Scholarship Registration Process 2022 will take place through the official website. The step by step process to register is explained below.

  1. First and foremost, you need to visit the official portal i.e. https://epass.apcfss.in.
  2.  On the official portal, you will have to register yourself by entering a few of your basic details like Name, Email Address, Phone number, etc.
  3. Next, you are required to sign in by providing the login credentials generated in the previous step.
  4. Once logged in, you will have to choose the scholarship for which you are going to apply.
  5. Then, provide your complete academic and personal details in the registration form. Please make sure all details are authentic because the documents will be verified later.

AP ePass Scholarship Document Verification

The scholarship will be issued to an applicant only after the verification of documents. Please note that there is a multi-level verification process. So, you should apply for App ePass Scholarship 2022 only if you are eligible. The steps of document verification are as follows.

  • College Verification – The first stage of verification is College Verification. During this verification, the college will verify the documents furnished by each student with an entry made in the application form. Once the verification process gets over, the principal will sign the same and send it to the department for verification by the verification officer appointed by the District Collector.
  • Verification by the verification Officer – After the college, a verification officer appointed by the district collector will conduct physical and documentary verification. Then, he will submit his report regarding rejecting or accepting the application.
  • Welfare Officer – Before sanctioning scholarship to any candidate it is the duty of Welfare officer to ensure that Verification by the college and verification officer is completed.

Question – 1: Can I get the scholarship if my quarterly attendance is less than 75%?

Answer: No, the scholarship is available only for those who have an attendance of more than 75%.

Question – 2: Is it possible to secure a scholarship for the previous year?

Answer: No, the scholarship can be claimed only for the current year. It is not possible to claim the scholarship for the previous year in any circumstances.

Question – 3: Why it is necessary to have a bank account in order to get a scholarship?

Answer: Yes, having a bank account is necessary. The amount of scholarship will be transferred to the bank account of candidates.

Question – 4: My parents are from Andhra Pradesh. But, I have studied outside the state. Can I get the scholarship for a course inside the state?

Answer: Yes, you are eligible for scholarship. However, you will have to meet the district welfare officer concerned to address your issue.
