Allahabad University Eligibility Criteria 2023
The candidates must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria in order to apply.
M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering)
- Aspirants must have a B.E/ B.Tech degree in computer science and engineering of Allahabad University or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates having B.Tech/ B.E. degree in Information Technology / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering or a Master’s degree in computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology or any other equivalent examination recognized by Allahabad University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and having valid GATE score in computer science and Engineering are also eligible.
Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Candidates should have a B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering of the Allahabad University or an equivalent degree recognised by the Allahabad University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Applicants having B. Tech. / B. E. in Electrical Engineering (Electronics Stream) / Computer Science Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering OR Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Master’s degree in Physics (with Electronics as Elective subject) or any other equivalent examination recognized by this University with an aggregate of at least 50% Marks and having valid GATE Score in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
B.Ed.
- Aspirants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their bachelor’s degree in order to be eligible for admission.
LAT (LLB Entrance Test)
- The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks. The criteria for minimum marks is 40% marks.
LFAT
- The age of a candidate should be less than 20 years as on 1st July 2023. For SC/ ST candidates, the maximum age limit is 22 years.
- Aspirants must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks.
M.Ed.
- Candidates must have a B.Ed. degree from a recognized institute.
MBA and MBARD
- Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized institute. Those students who are currently in the final year can also apply.
UGAT (Entrance exam for UG course – Undergraduate Admission Test)
- Those candidates who are looking to apply must ensure that they have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam. Other eligibility criteria are according to the course selected.
PGAT (Entrance exam for PG courses – Postgraduate Admission Test)
- All those aspirants who want to apply should have a relevant undergraduate level from a recognized university/ institute.
IPS Entrance Exam
- Those candidates who will opt for the UG Courses must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board. Those who will opt for PG courses should have cleared the graduation exam in the respective stream.
