The Bar Council of India conducts AIBE every year for candidates who want to enroll as certified advocates. It is a national-level entrance exam organized in a standardized manner. Qualified candidates will be issued a “certificate of Practice” (COP) to continue their practice at the courts of law.
AIBE 19 will be held in offline mode and the question paper is based on core subjects of law such as – Constitutional Law, CrPC, PIL, IPC, IEA, Administration, professional ethics, and more.
The online registration for AIBE (XIX) 2024 will be commenced tentatively in December 2024. Interested and eligible candidates should submit their application form as per the schedule.

Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the exam, candidates need to satisfy the required AIBE XIX (19) eligibility criteria. The details on eligibility criteria are provided below.
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for the exam.
Candidates should have cleared a three- or five-year LLB degree from a recognized institute or university.
There will be no age limit for AIBE 2024 Exam.
AIBE (XIX) 2024 Application Form
The AIBE 2024 application form will be available in December (tentatively) through online mode only. The application process for AIBE includes three stages- online registration, application form filing, and application fee payment.
Interested and eligible candidates should visit the official website of conducting body i.e., allindiabarexamination.com and register with their State Bar Council enrollment number, date of birth and email ID.
After successful registration, candidates will be allowed to access the application form. Fill in the required details such as personal details, educational qualification, State Bar Council registration details, preferred test cities and medium of paper etc. in the form.
After filling in all the information, candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature in the given fields.
Thereafter, candidates needed to pay the application fee as under.
AIBE XIX Application fee
Candidates from General/OBC/PWD/EWS/Women category have to pay Rs 3,500 as the required application fee.
For SC/ST/ SC-PWD/ST-PWD categories the application fee is Rs 2,500/.
The payment will be done offline mode only via using the SBI Challan facility. The Fee will be non-refundable under any situation.
AIBE 19 Exam Pattern

AIBE XIX 2024 Syllabus
The AIBE exam is conducted to test candidates’ knowledge of law subjects and whether they are capable enough to practice in a court of law. AIBE XIX Admit Card
Candidates who registered for the exam successfully will be able to download their admit card from the official website of the bar council. To download the admit card, candidates need to provide their registration ID and password.
AIBE XIX admit card will comprise important details related to the exam such as the date and time of the exam, venue of the exam, candidate’s name and roll number etc. candidate should take the printout of the exam and keep it safe for further use.
AIBE 19 Answer key 2024
Once the exam is completed, the authority will release AIBE Answer key on its official website. It is expected that the AIBE provisional answer key 2024 will be displayed in 2nd week of February 2025. In case of any mistake, the candidate will be allowed to raise objections against the provisional answer key.
After submitting the objections, the authority will release the final answer key in pdf format. With the help of the answer key candidate will get an idea of their estimated AIBE score.
AIBE XIX Result 2024
The Bar Council of India will tentatively release the AIBE 2024 in April 2025. Candidates who are going to appear in the exam can check their AIBE XIX scorecard at the official website of BCI.
Candidates will be able to access their AIBE results by using their enrollment number and date of birth. The result will comprise details like the qualifying status of the candidate as Pass/ Fail/ Rejected/ Withheld.
AIBE 19 Certificate of Practice
Candidates who qualify AIBE 19 Exam will be able to obtain a ‘certificate of practice’ from their registered state bar council. AIBE (XIX) certificate of Practice 2024 will be available online mode only.
After getting the AIBE COP, candidates will become eligible to practice in any court all over India. For enrolling in the state bar council, candidates have to produce some documents like Law exam mark sheets, Gap certificate (if any), Law exam certificates, and Passport size photographs in the advocate’s dress code etc.
