MAKAUT West Bengal M.Tech M.Pharma Admission Eligibility criteria
- Aspirants should be a citizen of India and must hold applicable AICTE approve Bachelor’s Degree in Technology/ Engineering/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/ or candidates appearing in the last year of such programs or correspondent can also apply for the exam.
- Candidate should be an Associate Member of a Professional of Engineers that are acknowledged by the Government of India for the objective of admission to higher studies in professional courses.
- Candidates who have a relevant degree in Master of Science or appearing in the final year of M.Sc are also eligible to apply.
- Applicants having a qualification degree from any distance education program are not eligible
- Reservation for PGET for reserved categories such as SC/ST/ PC/ OBC/ will be as per the state Government rules.
Application process for MAKAUT West Bengal PGET Exam
Applicants need to apply in the prescribed form which will be uploaded on the official website of University (after the release of official notification). Completely filled-up and signed online Application form will be downloaded from the website link which is www.wbut.ac.in. Candidates should be paid DD of Rs.600/- for General candidates (Rs.300/- for candidates belonging to reserved category) as application fee drawn in favor of ‘MAKAUTWB-PGET’ from any nationalized bank payable at Kolkata. Candidate note down that the application number and your name must be written on the reverse side of the demand draft. Attach Self-attested photo-copy of GATE/GPAT rank card if any. You are requested to submit all required documents such as self-attested photocopies of mark-sheets/certificates, caste certificate etc.
West Bengal PGET Examination Pattern
West Bengal Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) will comprise a single paper in the selected discipline. The duration of exam will be of 120 Minutes. The paper consist of 100 multiple choice questions and each question carries 1 mark. West Bengal PGET exam will have sections including English, Mathematics, Basic Science & Engineering Sciences, and Aptitude in Logical/Reasoning power.
