About The Institute
NIT Mizoram is one of the recently established educational institutes, which was approved by the Ministry Of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India. The ministry of HRD has sanctioned the institute in 2010. At in the inception stage, it offers only B.Tech programmes and later it offers M.Tech, M.Sc. & PhD. Degrees. The institute has departments such as Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (ME), Physics Department and Chemistry department. Admission to the institute is based on the scores of the students in All India Entrance Exam- Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main).
