The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) constituted with Chandigarh Administration will organize JAC Chandigarh Admission 2021, for offering admissions to interested and eligible candidates to various courses in Chandigarh. Admission will be done on the basis of candidates marks obtained in JEE Main 2021 exam. No any other entrance test will be organized for JAC admissions. Interested and eligible candidates are first needed to register themselves online. After the successful completion of registration, the candidates have to proceed further for the application fee payment. The payment of counselling/registration fee can be made through online or offline mode. Candidates will be admitted for said courses on the basis of JEE Main 2021 merit ranks.

 Step 1: Registration

Interested and eligible candidates need to register online by entering some important personal details, educational details, JEE main 2021 roll number, marks obtained in the qualifying examination, contact details etc. Once the registration process is completed, they need to login using their JEE Main 2021 roll number and password.

 Step 2: Fee Payment

When the registration is done, candidates are needed to complete the application fee payment process. They have to pay Rs. 2,100/- (Rs. 1,050 for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category). The payment of fee can be made either through online and offline mode.

At this stage, candidates need to take the printout of the JAC Chandigarh Admission Application Form 2018. Counselling process of JAC Chandigarh admission 2021

The process of counselling will be held in three rounds probably in the month of June 2021 while Spot round will be conducted from August 2021 onwards. The spot round will be organized to fill any vacant vacancies left after completion of the all three rounds of counselling.  Documents Verification

In this stage, candidates belonging to Sports Quota and other reserved categories will be needed to verify specified documents before the choice filling and seat allotment. Candidates from general category are not needed to do this until the allotment of seat and admission. Documents needed to bring for verification may include Class 10^th and 12th certificates, Sports certificate, and marks sheets, JAC confirmation page, Registration form, JEE Main 2021 Score Card, and Category certificate.

 Choice Filling & Locking

Registered candidates should provide their choice of colleges and branches of participating institutes as per their preference during the specific dates. The candidates can also make changes in their choice of preferred course or branch.

 Mock Counselling

 The mock counselling is one round that will be organized to enable applicants to understand the process of counselling, choice filling and seat distribution. The seats allotted in this round are just to give applicants an idea of how choice filling can effects the seat allotment. Applicants, can add/delete/change their choices in this round.

 Seat Allotment

The allotment of seats will be made on the basis of candidate’s rank in JEE Main, availability of seats, choices filled in by the candidates, etc. Applicants should check for their allotment and pay the applicable fees as defined for the allotted programme and institute.
