DASA UG 2021: Application Form (Till 12 Oct), Dates, Eligibility, Exam Pattern

DASA UG 2021: ‘Direct Admission of Students Abroad’ (DASA) is an initiative thru which candidates residing outside India and have the status viz. Person of Indian Origin (PIOs), Foreign Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), can take admission in the various institutes. They can pursue various courses in Engineering, Architecture and Plan from NITs, IIITs, SPAs and Other Centrally Funded & Premier Technical Institutes such as National Institute of Technology Srinagar Hazratbal, Jammu & Kashmir, Srinagar. Here, candidates can take all the vital information about the Application form, Eligibility criteria, Exam pattern and important dates etc.

The last date to register for DASA UG 2021 has been extended till 12th October 2021.

The registration process for DASA UG 2021 has been commenced from 20th September 2021.

DASA UG Eligibility Criteria

Please read the information about minimum eligibility criteria for DASA UG 2021 mentioned below:

  • Candidates must have their date of birth before October 01, 1996.
  • Candidates must have passed senior secondary level education (10+2) or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institute/board.
  • They must have studied the Physics, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science in the higher secondary level education.
  • It is also necessary that they have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate or 6.50 CGPA or its equivalent in the higher secondary level education.
  • Candidates must have attained 1440 in SAT subject Tests including Physics, Mathematics (Level 2) and Chemistry.
  • Candidates, who are appearing in the examination, can also apply for the examination.
  • Indian students, who are studying abroad, can also apply for the examination.

DASA UG 2021 Application Form

  • The DASA UG Application form 2021 will be available on the official portal of the authority. Which is ‘http://www.dasanit.org’.
  • Ion the application, they will have to fill all the required information such as name, address and the details of the educational qualification.
  • Candidates will have to submit the passport and the birth certificate along with the application form in the scanned jpeg format.
  • In addition to that, candidates will also submit the certificates of the educational qualification also.
  • There will be an application fee also which candidates will have to pay the thru the credit card, debit card or net banking.

 Admission Process (Seat allotment Process)

  • The admission of the candidates will be on the basis of the performance in the SAT subjects.
  • On the basis of the marks attained by the candidates in the SAT, the merit will be made.
  • The admission of the candidates will be only on the basis of the score of the SAT.
  • After the merit list is prepared, candidates name will be sent to the allied institutes as mentioned above and candidates will be called to take direct admission in the institute.
